History
|
An example of Yarrow's
famous raised propeller boats, which used
tunnel drive and were active on the Wanganui
River. Sunk by vandals at wharf (Taupo quay)
in 1950, salvaged October 1987 and
put into
restoration. The Wairua
was re-launched onto the Whanganui River on
3 March 2006.
